Conference Attendance Notice

Dear conference participants,

 

Welcome to the 2023 International Congress on Ultrasonics in Beijing. To ensure your smooth participation, please carefully read the following instructions.

 

1. Conference Registration

Registration Location:

Beijing Friendship Hotel (1 Zhongguancun South Street, Haidian District, Beijing)

Registration Time:

September 17th, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Registration Process:

a. Delegates who have already registered and paid online:

Check-in at the registration desk → Collect conference materials bag → Receive invoices from the finance department onsite

(If you have not received your invoice, please scan the finance department's QR code, fill in the relevant information, and it will be mailed to you after the conference).

b. On-site registration and payment:

Cash payment: Pay the conference registration fee at the finance department → Check-in at the registration desk → Collect conference materials bag → Scan the QR code provided by the finance department, fill in the relevant information, and it will be mailed to you after the conference.

Self-service payment kiosk: Use the self-service kiosk to make the payment → Check-in at the registration desk → Collect conference materials bag → Scan the QR code provided by the finance department, fill in the relevant information, and it will be mailed to you after the conference.

 

2. Conference Live Streaming

This conference will be live-streamed simultaneously for online audiences, including the opening ceremony, keynotes and closing ceremony. Please scan the QR code below to reserve your viewing.

 

 

3. Conference Information

(a). For accommodation arrangements, please go to the front desk of your booked hotel.

(b). Pay attention to safety precautions and keep your personal belongings, documents, and meal tickets secure. If you need assistance, please contact the conference organizing team promptly.

(c). Throughout the conference, access to the venue will require your conference badge, so please carry it with you at all times.

(d). Please adhere to the venue rules. Before the conference starts, kindly turn off or silence your mobile phones to maintain a quiet environment.

(e). Sessions will strictly adhere to the conference schedule. If you miss a session, the allocated time for that presentation will remain vacant. Delegates can engage in free activities while waiting for the next session. Full papers of absent presenters will not be published.

(f). Multimedia equipment at the venue will be provided by the organizing team. The Juying Hall screen will have a 16:9 aspect ratio, while other rooms will have a 4:3 aspect ratio. Presenters should arrive 15 minutes in advance and provide their presentation slides to the volunteers in each room. Invited presentations are 30 minutes long, including a 5-minute Q&A session, while oral presentations are 15 minutes long, including a 3-minute Q&A session. Please adhere to the allotted time.

(g). Poster presenters are requested to post their posters at designated locations between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM on the respective day. Please also be available near your poster during conference break times for face-to-face interactions with attendees. Online poster presenters must upload their poster documents to the official conference website before the conference begins and engage in discussions with other delegates through text comments and replies.

(h). Online presenters, please download the Zoom software in advance, prepare and test your microphone and camera, and enter the designated Zoom meeting room 15-30 minutes before your scheduled presentation time. The corresponding Zoom link can be found on the official conference website or by scanning the conference live streaming QR code above.

(i). Lunch will be provided for all registered delegates at the Friendship Palace on the first floor from September 18th to 21st (11:45 AM - 1:15 PM).

(j). Delegates who are unable to check in on September 17th can do so at the registration desk from September 18th to 19th between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

 

4. Conference Weather

Beijing in autumn typically has clear skies and pleasant temperatures. For daytime attire, refer to summer clothing, and consider adding a lightweight jacket for mornings and evenings.

 

5. Conference Transportation

(a). Beijing Capital International Airport to Beijing Friendship Hotel

Airport Bus: Board at Terminal 2 of Capital Airport, take the Airport Shuttle Bus Princess Tomb Line, get off at Friendship Hotel Station, and walk 630 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 1 hour and 11 minutes, with a reference fare of 30 yuan.

Taxi: Approximately 40 minutes, with a reference fare of 130 yuan.

Subway: Capital Airport Line → Transfer to Line 10 at Sanyuanqiao Station → Transfer to Line 4 at Haidianhuangzhuang Station → Exit D at Renmin University Station → Walk 440 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, with a reference fare of 30 yuan.

(b). Beijing Daxing International Airport to Beijing Friendship Hotel

Airport Bus: Daxing International Airport → Get off at Sitong Bridge Station → Walk 540 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 1 hour and 36 minutes. Reference fare: 45 yuan.

Taxi: Approximately 1 hour and 6 minutes, with a reference fare of 180 yuan.

Subway: Daxing International Airport → Transfer to Line 19 at Caoqiao Station → Transfer to Line 10 at Mudanyuan Station → Transfer to Line 4 at Haidianhuangzhuang Station → Exit at Renmin University Station. The entire journey takes approximately 1 hour and 18 minutes, with a reference fare of 40 yuan.

(c). Beijing Railway Station to Beijing Friendship Hotel

Subway: Line 2 from Beijing Railway Station → Transfer to Line 4 at Xuanwumen Station → Exit D at Renmin University Station → Walk 440 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 45 minutes, with a reference fare of 5 yuan.

Bus: Walk 520 meters from Beijing Railway Station to Beijing Station East Bus Stop → Take Bus 1/52 → Get off at Fuxingmen Station → Walk 610 meters to Beijing Children's Hospital Bus Stop → Take Bus 332 → Get off at Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Bus Stop → Walk 500 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 1 hour and 22 minutes, with a reference fare of 4 yuan.

Taxi: Approximately 39 minutes, with a reference fare of 76 yuan.

(d). Beijing South Railway Station to Beijing Friendship Hotel

Subway: Take Line 4 at Beijing South Railway Station → Exit D at Renmin University Station → Walk 440 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 39 minutes, with a reference fare of 5 yuan.

Bus: Walk 1.6 kilometers from Beijing South Railway Station to Yangqiao West Bus Stop → Take Bus 300 (Inner Ring) → Get off at Sitongqiao West Bus Stop → Walk 600 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel.

Taxi: Approximately 44 minutes, with a reference fare of 65 yuan.

(e). Beijing North Railway Station to Beijing Friendship Hotel

Subway: Take Line 4 at Xizhimen Station → Exit D at Renmin University Station → Walk 440 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel.

Bus: Walk 260 meters from Beijing North Railway Station → Take Bus 320 → Get off at Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Bus Stop → Walk 500 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel.

Taxi: Approximately 15 minutes, with a reference fare of 20 yuan.

(f). Beijing West Railway Station to Beijing Friendship Hotel

Subway: Take Line 9 at Beijing West Railway Station → Transfer to Line 4 at National Library Station → Exit D at Renmin University Station → Walk 440 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 28 minutes, with a reference fare of 4 yuan.

Bus: Walk 260 meters from Beijing West Railway Station → Take Bus 320 → Get off at Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Bus Stop → Walk 500 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel.

Taxi: Approximately 31 minutes, with a reference fare of 37 yuan.

(g). Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station to Beijing Friendship Hotel

Subway: Walk 630 meters from Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station → Take Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station Subway Shuttle Line/413 → Get off at Yan Sha Qiao Dong Station → Walk 450 meters to Liangmaqiao Station → Take Line 10 → Transfer to Line 4 at Haidianhuangzhuang Station → Exit D at Renmin University Station. The entire journey takes approximately 1 hour and 36 minutes, with a reference fare of 7 yuan.

Bus: Walk 1.3 kilometers from Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station to Xinghuoxi Bus Stop → Take Bus 408/991 → Transfer to Bus 302 at Dougezhuang Bus Stop → Get off at Sitongqiao East Bus Stop → Walk 580 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 1 hour and 44 minutes, with a reference fare of 6 yuan.

Taxi: Approximately 52 minutes, with a reference fare of 65 yuan.

(h). Beijing Fengtai Railway Station to Beijing Friendship Hotel

Subway: Take Line 10 (Inner Ring) at Beijing Fengtai Railway Station → Transfer to Line 4 at Haidianhuangzhuang Station → Exit D at Renmin University Station → Walk 440 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 48 minutes, with a reference fare of 5 yuan.

Bus: Walk 2.3 kilometers from Beijing Fengtai Railway Station to Kandanqiao Bus Stop → Take Bus 323 → Get off at Renmin University Station → Walk 670 meters to Beijing Friendship Hotel. The entire journey takes approximately 2 hours and 6 minutes, with a reference fare of 4 yuan.
