Great news for international travelers to China.
The Chinese government has recently announced changes to its COVID-19 travel restrictions for international travelers. From 29 April 2023, travelers arriving on international flights can take a rapid antigen self-test (RAT) within 48 hours before boarding, instead of having to provide a negative COVID-19 test (PCR test) certificate. Airlines will no longer check the test certificate before boarding.
It's important to note that the situation regarding COVID-19 can change from time to time. Therefore, it's always a good idea to stay up to date with the latest information from official sources, such as the Chinese embassy or consulate in your country, and to follow all guidelines and requirements for international travel.
